Snapsure Privacy Policy

In short: your photos are processed on your phone and are never uploaded. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics in Snapsure.

Who we are

Snapsure is made by Gutlibe (“we”). This policy explains what the Snapsure Android app does with your information.

Your photos

Photos you take or choose are processed entirely on your device: face detection, background removal, sizing and print sheets.
We never upload, collect, view or share your photos.
Finished photos are kept in the app’s private storage on your phone so you can print or edit them again. You can delete them in the app at any time; uninstalling the app removes them.
When you choose Save, a copy goes to your phone’s gallery (Pictures/Snapsure). When you choose Share, the photo goes only to the app you pick.

Permissions

Camera – to take your photo. Only used while the camera screen is open.
Storage (Android 9 and older only) – to save photos to your gallery.
Internet – only to read a small settings file from our server (see below). Photos are never sent.

Google Play services

Face detection and background removal use Google ML Kit, provided through Google Play services on your phone. The models are downloaded once by Google Play services and run on your device; your photos are not sent to Google by Snapsure. App updates and the rating prompt are provided by Google Play. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

App settings from our server

When the app opens, it downloads a small settings file from apps.gutlibe.com to check for updates and important notices. This request contains no personal information or photos. Like any website, our server may briefly log technical details of the request (IP address, time, app version) for security and reliability; we don’t use them to identify you and don’t share them.

Children

Snapsure doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date above. If we add features such as ads or purchases, this policy will be updated before they are released.
